Soi 39 has become one of my favorite restaurants! Before I ate there for the first time, I didn't even know Thai cuisine. However, every time on my first visits I was lovingly explained what I had just ordered, and I was also given little tips on how to use the other sauce / spices, etc. The nice thing about the wait is the half-open kitchen. You can almost look at the cook at the stove as she prepares the meal - the greater the anticipation then of course. :) "Nik keen, nik gut" is a motto of Soi 39. But if you don't like it that much, it is not a problem to address it - as well as incompatibilities - you just have to communicate it and then we will look for a solution together. What I find incredible is the variety of dishes. From curry to legendary Phad Thai (that's how mom has been cooking it for 35 years) there is actually enough selection of dishes that you can share alone or with friends, there is something for everyone, whether meat eaters, vegetarians or vegans are definitely not hungry home! I very much hope that Soi 39 will soon be able to open its rooms again and that I can go out to eat well with my people again. Until then, you can order and pick up by phone. Food in my opinion very, very greasy and only average in taste. Prices are very high in my opinion. Personally, I won't order there anymore, there are definitely better Thai restaurants in Mannheim for the same price-performance ratio

Food is expensive but tasty. Unfortunately no dogs allowed inside. Probably only become a customer in summer when I am allowed to sit outside with my dog. What a shame

Seldom enjoyed such good food (Thai cuisine). The service was really great and we'd love to come back. There are of course some good restaurants, but a visit to a restaurant can rarely be described as a wellness excursion - as if the body tries to memorize the taste in order to feed on it for a while longer. Authentic Thai food in the middle of the Neckarstadt. Very nicely furnished restaurant - currently (August) there are only 4 tables outside, which is why it is worth making a reservation! The food is delicious and relatively large portions are served. The staff is also very friendly. We will be back definitely!

It's a shame that you can't give 6 stars here! Definitely EVERYTHING excellent, exceptionally good menu, authentic Thai dishes with fresh ingredients lovingly prepared! Be sure to try the vegan shrimp :) A family-run business, the owner is very courteous, attentive, hospitable and professional. Very friendly service and cozy atmosphere in a modern room. Seating outside as well. It tasted fantastic and we felt very comfortable. The trip from Frankfurt was worth it and we'll be back. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!

Fabulous experience that we stumbled upon on our way past mannheim. Authentic Thai food - the som tam, the fried morning Glory was just brilliant. Fresh vibrant and tasty. Loved it so much that we drove back again the next day to ensure we could eat dinner here. We live in Rotterdam but will be back again for some great thai food. - the Dutch trip

FINALLY! Finally there is a really authentic Thai in Mannheim. Great pleasure. For years, I have been waiting for something like this. The food is fantastic. The selection is limited to a few dishes that have it but in itself. Authentic - as far as the outside of Thailand is possible - it is hardly. Even the relaxed atmosphere knows how to convince. The friendly staff put the crown on the whole. Soi 39 has found a regular guest in me. Nobody who knows and appreciates the real Thai cuisine will be disappointed here.

The food is exquisitely authentic and delicious. The ambience is really cool it was not as noisy as I had expected so you can have good conversations while savoring good flavors of Thailand. The only quirk I have is the price. 20€ for Tom yum gung (for 2) is pretty steep.

A great Thai restaurant! Everything looks and is authentic: the decor, the decoration and the food. The nicely served dishes, there are not many, but they are all outstanding, of course, are the star. But also the cordial and knowledgeable staff contribute theirs to a successful evening. Absolute recommendation for lovers of (real) Thai cuisine!

Solid Thai cuisine. The presentation of Lokas is very nice and appealing. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. However, I have to say that I promised myself more for the price and the other recessions. The curry was bland and Pad Krapao unfortunately did not have the kick I know from this dish. That you have to pay extra for the rice, I also took some getting used to. Despite all this, the Pad Thai was very good and the fried spinach was great too. The decor shows love to the detail and combines modern elements with a Thai cookshop on the roadside (very successful). The presentation of the dishes was also very successful. Conclusion: Solid Thai cuisine which is a bit expensive, especially compared to the competition in Mannheim.

Very nicely decorated restaurant in which a little of the street food style in the decor reflects. The menu contains few selected dishes. The classic noodles and fried rice of a Thai can not be found here. Much more regional specialties and family recipes from Thailand. This does not give the impression of all you can eat Thai, but of an upscale restaurant.
